just one and only good thing for this place is location. it is really close to beach. the rooms is basic which is not so fine but acceptable But there is no roof isolation. just tin roof on the door which makes the room like a sauna at day time. the big issue is the owner. you cant talk or... More

OK, if you want a four star hotel, go to one. This is a basic guesthouse and the cost reflects this. I was alone, and the room was basic, but clean and secure. It was also charming. I loved the downmarket rustic nature of it but the woman who ran it was such a nice woman to sit out and... More

We stayed here in the summer of 2012. We only booked this place as we couldn't get in anywhere half decent. The room was like a little sweaty box, poorly lit, suspicious stains on the bed and walls, dirty toilet that I was scared to drop my shorts in and cockroaches the size of a small mouse patrolling the room.... After having a recommendation from my host I went for this place. As soon as I have arrived I have been cheated by tuk-tuk driver, who was meant to be for free and later it came out he charges 300 LKR. Rooms were stinky and badly maintained. Some of the rooms did not have a ceiling. Staff was playing a... More

A most agreeable place ,simple basic rooms , with no extra points for cleanliness, a sometimes flooded shower/toilet , some holes in the mosquito nets , but the best place for quit sleep nice contacts , (it seems only friendly people pick it ;) ) a great view of beach and ocean , and for too hot days enough shade... There were 3 of us, we showed up late at night so it's to be expected that there were not many rooms available. There was in fact, just one room with two beds. The room was not clean. The bathroom was not clean. And all we could do was look across the way at the cute hotel with loads of... More

Pros: the place is the cheapest you can get in Trincomalee for a room on the beach. Moreover, the place is quite far from the main road, so it's silent and quiet. Over the bed there is a mosquito net, without too many holes. Cons: the toilets are really awful. The bar/restaurant next to the beach hotel, managed bt some guys... More

Arrived late one night, tried to get a room but they were booked out. Returned the next morning as another couple were leaving and got their room. Stayed five nights as we were waiting for a flight. Was good and bad. Location was perfect, price was ok (had the small room at the end for 1200 rupees), food was ok.... More

This is a great place to stay if you want somewhere slightly off the beaten track - somewhere to relax for a few days, make some friends and have a fun beach party. My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights but could easily have stayed much longer - our room cost Rs1500 a night - fairly cheap! The... More
