The Edison Inn has been purchased by the Hilton chain is currently closed for remodeling and is scheduled to reopen in mid April of 2013. This place should be the crown jewel of Port Huron. It is really a $70 hotel at this point, but I hope Hilton guts most of the interior. Gift shop staff was friendly. The views are fantastic. Keep the woodwork and moldings. Lighthouse and museum are not far away. When it reopens, we will give it another go.
