We have stayed here many times. The owners, Lisa and Mike are like friends. Very clean; knotty pine rooms are so relaxing; real quilts on the beds, comfortable, etc. It is not "chain motel" fancy, it is simply nice, clean and just like home. We tow a boat and they always have room, off street, for us to park it....

Usually, when we visit the Mackinaw City area, we stay in Mackinaw City. This time we decided to save a little money and stay in St. Igance instead. Overall, we were glad we gave St. Ignace a try and will probably be staying there again.

Our stay at the evergreen was one of the best experiences we have had. The rooms are spaciouus, clean, and the newly remoldeled knotty pine was a nice touch. Proprieotors, Mike and Lisa were great hosts and I would recommend their motel to anyone. I plan on returning this year and look forward to the trip.
