I would not suggest staying at the timberwolf lodge for at least a few years. There is a new owner and he doesn't have things up to par yet. What you see in the brochure is not what is really there. maybe a few pictures are taken from this resort but the others are from some other resort. One thing... More

“Excellent Getaway”

Brought my family of 5 here several times now, and it only gets better with each trip. The customer service on site is excellent and the lodge offers a number of different activities ranging from float plane tours over the gorgeous lake to storytelling around the fire with family and friends. “Timber Wolf - It was the perfect getaway”

We were surprised that they had a cancellation and were able to get us in during mid-summer in Ely. They had just finished a renovation and had added new furniture, log beds and the lot. We used cabin 10 and loved it! They provided a free boat and gave my kids canoe lessons and the staff at the office pointed... More

“Timber Wolf Lodge...Nice and Relaxing”

Doug the innkeeper is great and takes good care of all guests the cabins are nice and the grounds are also. Fishing on the lake is good but not great, nearby lakes are better.
