We will never go back to Schmidts again. Owners are very rude and overbearing. Unblieveable! Family members came to visit for about an hour, owners wouldnt let them stay even though we offered to pay $10 per person fee. What a sham. Bigstone lake is the only thing they have going for them.

This "resort" of self acclaimed "modern cabins" and relaxing family fun is not all it claims to be... buyer beware! For starters there are no cabins on the premises - the old motel has had no renovation - the couches are old and dilapidated, sunk to the ground; bathrooms are positively disgusting - the showers have bacteria infested, moldy floors...
