The AmericInn is an awesome place to stay in Winona. The staff was very friendly throughout my stay. I stayed their with my niece. We stayed in a Suite that had a jacuzzi in the room and she enjoyed it alot. We also enjoyed using the pool and hottub. We walked downtown to do some shopping at the local shops.

Although I cannot say this is a bad place to stay, it did not meet the quality and comfort I have always encountered at Americinns in other places and I would not recommend it to friends or stay there again. We loved this hotel. Super accommodating to our hockey players and parents. Clean hotel with a continental breakfast. Easy to get in and out and plenty or parking. Pool area was good and party room very big with plenty of tables and chairs. Hockey friendly staff and hotel!!!!

Nice clean place and well maintained. This is a good example of an AmericanInn. When visiting Winona this would be a good choice of a place to stay. The breakfast is just fine with choices that include waffles, fruit, cereal, rolls and such. Oh-- the hard boiled eggs were to die for! No issues and eveything worked. Free Wifi too

Let me first say that we got the very last room available, so I'm sure our room wasn't the best example of what they have to offer. Dropped our freshman daughter off at Winona State and stayed the night. Very comfortable, nice pool area with hot tub, and large comfortable lobby area to relax. Breakfast was decent but not much for choices beyond waffles and cereal. Room nothing special but didn't require much and it was clean which is the most important thing. Very clean and convenient to downtown area. After riding all day, we prefer to have a with in walking distance to night life and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful to us on our first visit to the area. As usual at AmericInn, the rooms are very quiet. We used the Hot Tub and we very pleased with the area.
