Sadly, many Comfort Inns haven't aged well and I've started to avoid them. But the Comfort Inn in Meridian was a pleasant surprise. The recent remodel is obvious. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well appointed. This is a nice quiet place to stay when heading across the south on I-20. We stayed there last Friday night. What a pleasant surprise since we are Marriott Gold members and were not certain what to really expect. Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff. I really like this hotel. I'm moving in my car, so security was a concern, but it wasn't an issue. Pretty nice hotel. Rooms had very nice furnishings. Very comfortable. Only downsides i notices were some of the staff had some attitude... but nothing major. Would probably stay again.

“Got smoking room --asked for non- smoking!!”

Asked for non smoking room, got a smoking room. It was terrible. Made my children nauseous!! Not good value for hundred bucks.

Room was clean as was the bathroom. Handy location for I-20. Few places to eat. There were some stores in the area. However, in our opinion it was over priced ($85+) for what you get and for the location.
