Our room was clean. The bed was as hard as woodpecker lips. My husband thought the floor might be softer. I think I'm a couple inches taller because the curves in my spine have been straightened out. I had read that the rooms were a little musty smelling so I took room freshener.

i do agree that you get what you pay for...but, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms aren't bad, just outdated.
