Friendly check in, very average room, disappointing view. The hotel is located near some amazing and interesting businesses and restaurants. The art shop across the street is amazing and the "Flea Market Restaurant" next door is interesting and has a decent burger.

started off with problems in the reservation...staff was friendly but not accomodating or customer focused. For the price and poor service, I wouldn't stay here. I travel quite often for work and I stay frequently at Holiday Inn Express and this facility was not up to the high standard to which I can expect from Holiday Inn Expresses. Slow lift, so-so food (why can't they add a real kitchen and menu), normal (nothing special in the rooms, decor, or quarters). Bottom line, I was told they did some updrades, and had a managers weeekly special (aka Emb Suites). NO DICE! Stay if you looking for a flat-rate hotel/room.
