The depot inn was fantastic. I stayed there for 2 weeks and loved it. It didn't feel like a hotel at all. The place was very clean. I was working nights and got back to the hotel at 4:30 a.m. To find the lobby doors locked. The manager then gave me a key to get in late at night. The... More

“Nice Place, Best In The Kirksville Area”

Quality rooms, clean and comfy all around. Don't expect much for breakfast, coffee, juice, milk, cereal and waffles. Nice beds and bedding. If you are a light sleeper, trains go by all night and do blow their whistle.

“Fantastic place”

Everything a hotel should be but few are. Cool, interesting, nice people, very non-corporate but with all the amenities of a big hotel yet all the touches of a mom-n-pop. I'd go out of my way to stay here!

Not expecting such an amazing place to stay when visiting for a wedding! Super clean, friendly staff and nice rooms! We would stay here again! The breakfast was small but good, and very close in location to the reception hall.

The Depot Inn & Suites was a wonderful surprise in La Plata, MO. It is a small hotel but had clean spacious rooms, a pool, 24 hour coffee, continental breakfast, good service and a pool table in the lobby. I enjoyed my stay there thoroughly!
