We were traveling Route 66 so of course chose this motel. "Über retro" is a fitting description. There was plenty of space and everything worked well. The neon sign is fab, even more so with a few letters unlit. Sad that Ramona wasn't there, but it obviously wasn't a busy time.

If you are really into the retro motels, this is great! Just understand that back in the day there were no hair dryers, no flat screen TVs, no coffee makers, and tiny, thin bath towels. The prior reviews were so helpful as we are glad we stayed here. It was perfect for what we needed as a one night stop on our way back home. Very clean, quiet and priced right. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Stayed here as part of a Route 66 road trip (of course) because of the sign, good rooms, good value, had a pool which is good after a days drive. Bowling alley opposite was good value and friendly, bit tricky to find strangely proabbly due to not relly planning properly

We stayed here on our roadtrip. We were delayed and didn't get in until late, but were met with a warm welcome and they even kept the light on for us. It was like a beacon in the darkness! Plus a great pool for a morning dip. Comfortable, clean and classic.
