Checked in and all seemed ok. Got to room and it smelled bad, lake view window was stained, and carpet (metal) staples were all over. We have two young kids, one is an 11 month old. Front desk, housekeeping, restaurant people were top caliber! Very friendly and hospitable. Room was certainly clean, but a little worn. Bed was VERY comfortable. Furnishings were a little dated. We will certainly return.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. We checked in about 10. The front desk agent wasn't friendly, didn't smile, and no sense of urgency. This is a hotel built in the 60s and doesn't appear to have been maintained. My room wasn't clean and after asking to have it re cleaned it was still dirty. Bed was worn out and bad and food was very bad. Overall I will not return no matter what the room rates are.

I sure this motel was quite the place 30 years ago. It has been doing some renovation but needs a lot more. I feel they are overpriced for what they offer. I will say the staff is very friendly and they do have a good restaurant with great people working there also. I will not rush back to this motel.

The staff was very nice in all departments. The food was very good and our breakout rooms were very nice. My room was all I could ask for. I look forward to staying there again next year. Thanks again

Could be a great place. In desperate need of major structural work and cosmetic work. Furniture is all antiqusted. restaurant is frequently out of specials and basically anything you would want. Carpets need major cleaning or replacement. Audio equipment in main meeting room was not working.

We were disappointed that our room was not tended to. We were there when staff initially knocked, but left within 15 minutes, as we told her we would. Another good stay. Food has improved and Management is very customer orientated. My stay was February 2013 and I stay there 3 to 4 times a year. If you looking for 5 star hotel it is not. However the people who work there are 5 star and can handle large events.
