Although the Huntley Lodge is older, it has been well maintained and continues to offer a great skiing experience. The Huntley Hotel has a wonderful breakfast and jacuzzi. Our room was at the extreme end of the hotel. We asked if they could change our room to one closer to the front of the hotel, and they said " I'm sorry, you booked through Expedia so we can't change you " They had available rooms, but refused! I visited Big Sky for the first time and enjoyed the Huntley Lodge. The location is pretty much ski in/ski out without the high price like other resorts.
