This resort is situated off a very busy highway, but there is very little sound from traffic. Close to whitefish (but need a car), you feel like you have escaped the world. The only downside (not a complaint as this is very explicitly not onsite) is the lack of any nearby places to eat. The kitchen is adequate but surprised... More

If you are looking for a charming, well-run log cabin type lodging in the beautiful Whitefish/Glacier National Park area, you can't go wrong here. We spent two cozy nights with our border collie in a completely equipped cabin including cable tv and free wifi. The kitchen had everything except a full size stove, including freshly ground locally roasted coffee in... More

I fell completely in love with this resort. At first when you arrive it really doesn't look like much but inside the cabins are really cute. It was my first time staying in a log cabin and I was so very happy with this place. First the beds are super comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bathtub was spotless. The... More

My husband, son and I stayed for 3 nights in August. The cabin was comfortable, cozy and very, very clean. It is centrally located and an easy commute to Glacier National Park and the Whitefish area. The staff is helpful and friendly. The kitchen is really well equiped. Everything you would need and more. They even provide nice ground coffee.... More

We stayed here the last 3 days of our wonderful trip visiting the 3 National State Parks. It was our little home away from home in the woods. And so close to Glacier, Whitefish, Big Fork, the Jewel Basin (for hiking), AND the airport. Especially enjoyed having a drink on the porch after a great day of sightseeing and hiking.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. Had our dog with us and the place was great! Very relaxing accommodation after our long drive cross country or a day in Glacier National Park. Hotels in the park don't allow dogs so this was a good alternative and much much better than any standard "dog friendly" hotel. We were able... More

Great cabins in a great location. Nice tranquil spot, great after a day in the NP. We only stayed for one night but wished we had longer. Cabins are equipped with everything you would need for an extended stay and staff were very helpful. Our dog enjoyed the walking trail too. We'll definitely be back More

This is the second time we have stayed at North Forty Resort. Our stay was outstanding in every way with the exception of a Batchelor Party that had rented 4 of the cabins. We were kept awake from 1:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. by this party. We didn't call the owners, because we thought there would be no one to... More
