Apparantly these people consider themselves the final authority on camping and canoeing in the area. My 3 children and I stayed a few yrs ago and had an awesome time! Two nights in a cabin,floated down the river in a stock tank,food and travel expenses was around $500! We enjoyed much overdue family bonding! Planning our next visit in a couple of weeks! So looking forward to a great time!

While we fished, the "lodge" was used for a jewelry party by Mrs. Switzer...when we returned, the lodge we had paid a premium for was completely taken over by locals and "tourists" at the jewelry party.... Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Calamus Outfitters near Burwell Nebraska. The hosts were very helpful, the cabins were new and very clean and the location was beautiful.
