Wanting to spend Christmas in Vegas, we stayed at Fremont Dec. 22 - Dec 26, 2011. The rooms are very small, old and dingy with No coffee pot. The TV is about 15 years old, and it says it has WiFi, but could never connect. The bathroom is so small, don't even think about 2 people getting ready at the... More

The rooms are are small, but very clean, a very good value. The downtown town experience is an experience you have to experience at least once during your stay in Las Vegas. The only down side is there is only valet parking and a little hard to find. Would stay there again. More

Just loved downtown Las Vegas and our stay December 2011 for Cowboy Christmas at the Fremont Hotel/Casino. The rooms have been remodeled and nicely appointed. Bathroom is a bit short on counter space but adequate. Room was very clean and housekeeping was so helpful. Actually staff throughout the hotel/casino were very friendly. This casino is a friendly place. Valet parking... More

I've been going to vegas for a long time and my experience staying downtown is that it's cheap and old. I was comped a room at the Fremont and I was expecting to get what I paid for but the room was very clean. Newly painted, carpeted and well done. WOW! The Fremont is a good option if this is... More

had another lovely stay here-great location-friendly staff-good buffet-they have small but very clean rooms with no internet access at all-you have to take your laptop to their sister property 'main street station' or over to 'krispy creme' at the 'fitz'-you can get a free picture with a million dollars at 'binions'-you can get a hot dog with a beer for... We never stayed in Old Vegas before and were a little worried. However, the room was very, very clean and housekeeping was great. The bathroom is small but has great shower pressure. The noise from the Fremont Experience was never a problem for us to sleep. The casino was good and we were offered so many drinks while playing that... More

Stayed here for the 11-11-11 weekend. The location is great if you're looking for a downtown location. All other casinos are easily in walking distance. Live bands outside and the freemont st. Experience. Lots of gaming available here. The room was ok. It still had an old CRT TV set. Other hotels in the area all have the flat screens.... More

As mentioned in the title, I rated this hotel a "4" for gambling and not necessarily for the rooms, although the rooms are bit smaller than what you'd get up on the strip, the excellent gambling makes up for it all. We just recently got back from an 11/11/11 trip and definitely enjoyed bringing back home all the money we... More

Tuesday, November, 15, 2011, was the worst meal that I have experienced in 30 years. If the meal had not been free, as we had two free buffett' s presented to us that evening by Ms Terri Lorenzen, casino host, it could only have been worse if we would have had to pay for the mess. This is the fourth... More

My mom and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. This was our 2nd stay at the Fremont and once again we enjoyed it there. They have a wonderful group of housekeeping ladies there, they are always friendly and helpful. My mom did not like the location of our room the 1st night, but we were given another room... More
