The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas garners praise for its elegant atmosphere, with guests lauding the stylish decor and tasteful furnishings. The hotel's prime location on the Strip is a highlight for its convenience to attractions, and its non-casino, smoke-free environment is popular for providing a peaceful retreat. While the rooms are often celebrated for their spaciousness and luxury, some guests have encountered maintenance issues. Despite the commendations for cleanliness and a quiet ambiance, the value proposition is challenged due to high prices and inconsistent service reported by travelers.

The hotel was fine, but not what I’ve come to expect from a Waldorf Astoria. Room service was fantastic and the hotel was at a good location. Hotel’s communication and organization was not good. Disregarding our do not disturb request, entering our room as we napped and performed housekeeping when we specifically asked for no service. Felt like a violation of our privacy.

Hotel's Favourite
Quiet oasis near everything! I would definitely stay here again. Room was very clean and large. Beds were very comfy. I liked that the closets/changing area were separate from bedroom area so not waking anyone up if need to iron and get dressed before anyone else. Bathroom is huge. Double vanity, separate room for toilet, good water pressure in shower. Turn down service at night was a nice extra touch. Definitely recommend paying for the pretty “city view” to get Paris Eiffel Tower view. I liked that the hotel didn’t have a casino because it was a quiet retreat to escape to when done with the hustle and bustle of strip. Great location, CVS right downstairs, short walk to Aria, Park MGM. Service was excellent throughout hotel. The only inconvenience is that they are remodeling the main floor lobby, so right now you need take the elevator to 3rd floor, walk down a hallway and then take another elevator to the current 23rd floor lobby. They said should be done next month, not a deal breaker to me as the positives far outweigh this temporary issue. Highly recommend!

Sometimes you ignore the reviews and give the hotel a chance. Well, I will confirm the reviews are spot on as I cancelled my following nights immediately upon arrival. The car service is a joke, they shouldn't even offer it. Asked the bellman for car service and he said 40min wait, therefore I said ok great I'll be back down in 30min. He said NO, I have to physically wait without moving for 40min. What a joke that's not service. Anyhow, I arrived at 2pm and they said your room is not ready yet and I said ok do I have a high floor and the front desk said let me check. Wait a minute you just said my room is not ready but you don't know my room floor number? Well that was a false lie, they just make everyone wait doesn't matter if you are a 17 year consecutive Diamond Member. With over 2million miles travelled and countless nights stayed, this service is a joke but ultimately it's really just Vegas is played out, only here because 1 family member wanted to come. Vegas is not what it used to be including all the complaints from Fontainebleau and every other hotel it's truly turning to trailer park trash city if you ask me. Next, I get a text at 5pm that my room is ready, that's 1 hour after 4pm check in. I arrive back at hotel to find out I have been given the quality Diamond view of a parking garage. Yep cancel and cancel following nights. Truly need to research your Diamond members, take a look at where they have been and how many nights they stay as Diamond members have vast networks, they don't travel to be quiet loners. And yes, it is annoying to have to switch elevators, at 3rd floor, every time you go from your room to the lobby. Skip this one, let the ship sink on its own and enjoy elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel terrible manager. Manager Jeremy has flat out lied to us and other guests. Contradicted himself a number of times in last couple hours over check in and check out and cleaning. Check in told us room was being worked on - now a basic room. Three hours later still not ready. Jeremy told the crowd that regular rooms take normally 3 hours each to clean with a full crew. Not a suite but every room in the hotel will take 3 hours and the suites much more. If you come across Vincent or Jeremy do lot believe them and ask for someone else. This is supposed to be at par with rosewood four seasons Aman and is more like a Quality Inn when it comes to the management. Oh well tried it but clearly they have work to do. Back to Encore next visit.

This was, by far, one of our favorite hotel stays. We can not rave enough. The hotel itself is perfectly situated, near to everything but hidden from the "hoopla." Best of all, NO CASINO. It's an oasis in the midst of the craziness. You will not be inundated with promotions and shops, you won't be gagged by cigarette smoke, you won't need to walk through hundreds of slot machines to get to the lobby and/or your rooms. What you will get: friendly, attentive service from doormen to reception desk, to concierge, to housekeeping, to waitstaff--- EVERYONE was pleasant, accommodating and professional. The rooms: perfection-- pristine, all the amenities you would expect, loved the lighting, the automatic curtains, the bath products, the cozy robes, the practical desk area, dynamite closet/drawer space, great housekeeping. OTHER: upper floor cocktail lounge, serene, with a great view, pool area, lovely-- fitness facilities, on par with any top hotel, spa and spa services, anything you could ask for (from steam room, to massage, to facial treatments). There is NO reason to stay anywhere else.

Beautiful hotel located on a very convenient location on the Las Vegas Strip. Spa services were excellent and so were the amenities and staff. Only issue was the breakfast area which was crowded since there is only one place to grab breakfast. However it is located next to Aria which has many options and casino if you need the gambling fix.

Pre-stay email by Elyse at concierge was received. I notified her I would be arriving before check in time. Say before arrival I checked in via app. On day of arrival, my digital key was in my phone by the time I landed at airport and was able to go straight to my room. No upgrade as a diamond, but the early checkin was good. Room felt renovated and the main areas have a very pleasant smell. Touch controls for the lights and drapes and plenty of storage. The bath products have been switched to Aesop in the fixed dispensers. Bed is comfortable and the towels are super soft. Service was friendly, especially in Zen Kitchen for breakfast. Credits were applied correctly and points posted quickly.

Hands down the best resort in Vegas. 5 star service, 5 star rooms -- no smoking, no casino. Lovely gym, great pool, top notch workout classes. Total elegance. I've stayed at other luxury resorts in town and nothing compares to the Waldorf. Can't wait to stay here again!

Great location and spa. Easy access to Aria and Bellagio. Rudest staff of any “5 star” hotel I have encountered. Need help with luggage? Probably better off handling yourself. Need help at the front desk? Good luck. This place slid a note under the door night before checkout advising a) strip will be closed tomorrow for marathon, expect extreme delays, and b) if you are in your room “one minute” after 11, you will be charged an additional night. Does the hotel staff any idea of how to get to airport give n “extreme delays” they just advised us about? No..Did they offer any assistance whatsoever? No. This is not a Waldorf Astoria property, it is a Hilton pretending to be a 5 star resort. Stately anywhere else, your money will be better spent.

Hotel feels old and not well kept. The drain in my shower was slow to drain and couldn’t take more than a few minute shower. The staff was hit or miss on how they treated you. The breakfast in the restaurant on the 3rd level always came out cold as if it was made hours ago. This hotel shouldn’t have the Waldorf banner as it doesn’t come close to living up to the name .
