They call this 'off-strip', but just barely - you are just as close to the action as guests at the MGM right across the street. Yes the place is old and showing it's age, but the rooms are adequate and clean, free parking and internet, friendly staff with prompt attention to issues. Pools and hot tubs open 24/7 even in... Through a bizarre set of circumstances, my company ended up here for the annual CES event. I will say that my room was very well cleaned. No desk, no chair, no TV remote, no working Internet access, smoky odor in non-smoking room, threadbare carpet, paint chipping off of bathroom tile floor. The crowd in the casino was rough -- this... We found this one for $30 (including the resort fee) from Sunday onwards, and took it as a cheap place to base ourselves. We weren't intending to spend too much time in the room anyway. The room was large but quite basic. There was no fridge or microwave and the internet cost extra, which was a bit disappointing after having... More

The hotel is situated right at the bottom of The Strip, next to MGM, Lexor and New York, New York so it's great for setting off in the morning and working your way up to Stratosphere! A couple of tips: get a taxi from the airport as it works out alot cheaper than getting the shuttle. You can see the... More

Obviously its not the Aria or MGM but its a great hotel if you want to go to vegas on a whim. We have stayed here 2 times when we wanted to go to vegas last minute and once as a connector between idaho. (we live in san diego). For $19/ night plus 2 free drinks, $100 in slot play,... More

Check in was very slow. We stayed one week because the rates were cheap. Both my husband I got sick the first night there. We thought it was an upper resp. infection, so called our Dr back home and she sent us some Z-paks. Took those and we weren't any better. We finally realized that it was the room making... More

On my annual trip to Vegas for a trade show and stayed at Hooters. Snicker all you want but for $20 a night you can't find a better deal. Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. And Casino is relatively small so you are waklking throught 1/4 mile of smokers. was it the best place I've ever stayed?... More

Well you get what you pay for. Ok, if you are just passing through. The beds are saggy, the heater loud and you will need the heater during the winter and coffee at the Bar or store by the pool is awful! I was literally getting up and walking across the parking lot to the Tropicana to have a cup... More

The hotel room was disgusting!!! I found pubic hair in the bathroom and buffalo wing sauces on the sheet. I have pretty low standard for room and this room is the worst I ever stayed at. More

The hotel is not bad for the price, the rooms are pretty clean, the towels are NOT so clean. Blankets are cheap and it was extremely cold at night. Food is not bad downstairs. HOWEVER, I made reservations through iVegas/Expedia and paid online $69 for two nights on Christmas with special promotion. When we arrived at the registration desk, I... More
