I attended a conferenc in the Rio last fall and was happy with my accommodation. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely view. I enjoyed relaxing on the "beach" by the pool between conference sessions. The buffet was a fun experience - especially the crab legs! Downside- in-room coffee was a Keuirig coffee maker and you had to... More

Been staying at the Rio for years, (approx. 5 times) we love the staff there, they always go out of their way to make you feel like you're genuinely welcome. Unfortunately on our last visit we we troubled to find some disturbing things happening there. First of all the property is beginning to need some investment from Harrah's. We've always... More

Stayed at the Rio for the second time last week. It was much better this time around although arriving on a Tuesday may have helped. The check in line was short and they honored my request for a room with a better view. The room was beautiful albeit showing it's age (stains on the carpet, a little rust around the... More

We arrived at RIO the day after Super Bowl for a three-night stay in the Ipanema Tower. Check-in was smooth with about a 10 minute wait in line before being served. The registration clerk was friendly and paid close attention to filling our special requests. Since we are bugs on cleanliness (no pun intended), the condition of the room was... More

While not as elegant as some of the other hotels on "The Strip",(notably Caesar's Palace), the Rio offers an attractive package of spacious rooms and a cavernous casino. We upgraded from the basic room to a suite for $20 more per night, which apparently was a great move judging from comments of the other members of the group we were... More

I was here on business and stayed at the hotel for four nights. My company isn't willing to pay $22 for me to go on a 40 minute run. I can't justify spending $22 per day for my workout. I worked long days and wouldn't have time to really enjoy it for more than an hour. So, I didn't get... More

The rooms are very large and confortable. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out was quick and smooth. It is off the strip but don't think that is a problem. There are two free shuttles running every fifteen minutes. The view of the strip from the wall of windows of our room was great. The free show... More

We have been staying at the Rio for many years. The rooms are BIG and very nice. The pool is nice, although they do tend to play the music there too loud. The casino is fun, with a good mix of slots and tables. Restaurants are good. Buffet's are really good. Since they are not right on the strip, they... More
