I'm a diamond player and took a group of friends to RIO (2 rooms) February 13-16. We hadn't stayed there in a few years, and wow it has gone down hill. The rooms haven't been updated/upgraded in any way. The casino floor is very tired looking. Unbelievably, despite it being a holiday weekend, the show in the sky wasn't running.... more

the rooms were spacious and quite comfortable. I had no problems with room service or any of the amenities offered there. I would recommend it. The only down fall is that is off the strip. more

You're spoiled the minute you get there especially when you drive in. Valet parking, bell hop service, and nice check-in people. Got deals for the Carnival Buffet. That buffet was the best buffet I've ever eaten. They have food from A to Z, American food to food from Zimbobway (sp). Awesome experience!! more

Very nice all all suite hotel to stay at when you want to be off of the strip. The shows are great and the buffet is voted the best in Vagas. more

We decided to eat at the buffet, and was very disappointed. The ribs were tough and cold. The desserts were too sweet, but did offer a wide selection. I would not recommend this place especially for the price. Lower your price Rio the food is not that good. more

Been wanting to stay here for awhile. I am a Total rewards member and stay at Harrahs hotels everytime in Vegas so my 3 nights were all comped, which made the stay great. Otherwise, rooms are very spacious since they are all suites. Casino was great, staff was couteous overall, but in tha past there were more waitresses/waiters around slots... more

I didn't really stay much in the room (Sleeping in Vegas is like telling people to shut up... Do it only when necessary)... We had a room in the old tower, so it wasn't as nice as the newer rooms, but then again we only got it to have a place to sleep and keep our clothes and souvenirs... Gaming... more

It's off the strip so if you're there to site see or walk along strip, I'd advise against staying here. more
