Rooms are a little outdated, but the rest of the hotel is awesome. The pool is so much fun and when we were there it was packed which always makes the days a blast. I like that the bar has the option to get the large take home cups as well as a list of cheaper drinks. Keeps everyone happy... More

Love the Flamingo Las Vegas. Location is key. If you're a walker you'll love being in the center of the strip. Easy access from room to strip and just across the street from Caesars Palace. Standard rooms but the locations makes up for that. Great pool area and loved the new Margaritaville Casino. More

The Flamingo is in a great location, themproperty has lots of nice ammennities. I stayed in the new Fab Deluxe rooms in January. I love the faux wood floors -- no more wondering what's living in the carpeting. The floor to ceiling windows are cool and the furniture is fun. The new beds are very comfortable. Good room at a good price. Seems to be standard. Didn't like the porn shop in the lobby that kids were walking by, tho. Close to all the strip stuff, decent gambling. More

Stayed in Jan 2012 for business/pleasure. Needed a two-room suite; couldn't afford the newer hotels. Was there for large trade show, so all rooms were higher & already booked. After some confusion about res. made over the internet, they upgraded us to what we wanted (a Go Suite) & negotiated the increased amount. Was still way cheaper than newer hotels.... More

There are certainly better hotels in Vegas, but among those that retain the old school vibe of Sin City, The Flamingo is my preference.
