Stayed for a couple of nights and the staff were friendly, check-in was easy, elevators were close. The room was a bit small, but comfortable and clean. Our shower was funny in that the spigot was cleaning our ankles as well as coming from the shower head. It did not affect the shower strength, tho.
Went to the mall part...

I have stayed in the pass at the MGM and must say the rooms at the Monte Carlo are beautiful. The hotel has invested not too long ago more into remodeling the rooms. This is a good location next to New York New York and MGM. Must say though this is only a good place if you only want to...

When I arrived at MC I waited about 5 min to check in at 9:30am. We were upgraded to a city view room. Arrived at the room, nice bed, nice TV, washroom could use a bit of an update. Overall for $100 per night, room was nice.
Because I was charged $15 per day resort fee, I used the gym...

The Monte Carlo is definitely one of the older hotels in Las Vegas. The casino is good, rooms are average and the wait for elevators is not very long. The food court inside is actually really good -- subway, starbucks, manchu wok, rubio's and mcdonalds. The best thing about this hotel is its location! Pretty darn close to the middle....

The Monte Carlo just has a great feel to it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the building and facilities themselves are clean and elegant and the room I stayed in was big enough, serviced daily and was really quite nice. The price was right, too.
The Casino itself is less crowded than the bigger casinos which is great because...

I joined the MGM Grand Resorts e-mail club to be able to get some discounts when I traveled to Las Vegas. They ran a "Winter Special" and the Monte Carlo was on that list. I had a family function to attend January 3rd so I booked 3 nights at the Monte Carlo for $50.00 per night (plus taxes) and was...

I was nervous about staying at the Monte Carlo after I read the reviews. Unfortunately, I was already booked through a soccer tournament and couldn't change my reservations.
We arrived on Friday night at 11:00 PM and still waited a half hour to check in. The next morning and throughout my 4 day stay there were always ridiculously long lines,...

The hotel was fairly decent. There's a small food court with McDonalds, Subway and Sabarros, so there are some nice options for late night snacking. The rooms are nice but there were some things missing that I thought were standard in every hotel. There wasn't a microwave or a refrigerator in the room. This is something of a problem if...

check in was fine ... the room was terrible ... the furniture was old and marked up... the bathroom had a shower for handicapped people ... no bath tub... called down to get room changed ...the front desk said they would get back to me ... waited 20 minutes called again and was given the run-a-round by some nice sounding...
