A nice place to stay with a family. We camped in our RV with a W/E and a view of the pond. The site was flat and large. The pool and playground were great for the kids. The bathrooms were clean and showers were free. The friendly staff welcomed us. Pets are welcome but the $3/night fee is annoying. Wi-Fi... More

We usually don't stay at private campgrounds. Instead we go to state or national park campgrounds because we prefer be in the wilderness. However, this campground was nice. Most of the sites were wooded and semi private. Some sites were fairly close together but I suppose some people like that. I liked that the owners have strict rules and enforce... More

First reason for the poor rating: The "lake" is not a lake, its a Beaver Pond. If not for the beaver this large beaver pond would be a swamp. Swimming in beaver ponds is very risky. Beaver crap contains Giardia. When Giardia get into your stomach it will make you very sick. Gosh I hate false advertising for profit. Second... More

Picked this campground after some online searching and seemed the best option for our two families meeting somewhat in the middle. We were travelling from New Brunswick, Canada and the other party from Albany, NY. The 8 of us tented the entire July 4th week and man... did we enjoy our stay. Service, grounds, people, environment were all A+. The... More

We were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful campground. The customer service was great- we were greeted nicely and our request to move to a site closer to the playground was accepted without any difficult. We loved our trip here. It is definitely family oriented- very quiet at night and plenty to do for the kids (playground, heated pool, game... More

Clean, well kept and has a ton of activities. Located next to Santa's Village (10 minutes) and a state park. We were over father's day week-end June 2012. Discount on the tent site (20% off), coupon for free cup of coffee, discount on baked items, 1 hour free canoe rental. Totally unexpected and very kind to make for a nice... More

This weekend we had a group camping trip to the Mountain Lake campground. Not being campers ourselves, we were a bit hesitant, but after this weekend, we will be planning a trip here every year! The campground has tent, cabin and RV sites. We stayed in an adorable 2 room cabin with a 1/2 bath. It had heat and a... More

We could not have picked a better campground for our two boys (11 and 12). There was so much for them to do they hardly knew how to choose. They swam in the lake (there was also a heated pool), fished, played giant chess, ate at the ice cream social, caught frogs, went kayaking, played "manhunt" with other kids, took... More

We were scheduled to stay there Wednesday-Sunday but left a day early because of Hurricane Irene coming. We tented at site #72 which was right near the yurt. The yurt looked very cool! The teepee looked cool too. This campground is really geared more for RVs than tents I would say. Most of the sites are very rocky. Our site... More

We stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. Friendly and helpful staff. The place is very clean, the bathrooms and showers were large and always clean. Our campsite was clean with a fire pit and a new picnic table. We had a view of the lake. The pool is a heated saltwater pool. There was never the problem... More
