Stayed for a hockey tournament. Perfect location and very hockey friendly! Rink was a 2 min walk from the lodge. Rooms are great and sleep tons. Lots to do year round. The whole team stayed and had a great time.

The Golden Eagle Lodge was a great place to stay in Waterville valley. It was central to everything, had a fun pool with hot tubs. The front desk was very accommodating. The reason for the average rating was the actual room. It was pretty dated, clean, but needed more comfortable beds, blankets, sofa, and living space. I do not think... More

We have been going to Golden Eagle Lodge for years. It is a beautiful lodge with mountains all around and a 1 minute walk to the town square which has a few nice shops and restaurants. The units at Golden Eagle are privately owned so they will vary on their decor. Some have 1 tv while others will have 2... More

The weekend after Thanksgiving Santa comes to Waterville Valley, the kids loved it. We stayed at the Golden Eagle on the back side of Waterville Valley so close and we could walk to all the activities within minutes. The room was great from a Murphy bed that the kids thought was amazing a bed in the wall, to a full... More

My husband & I visited for 5 days while I attended a conference at the Waterville Valley conference center (which was nice, though many workshops were in the lower level with no windows). The conference center is a short walk (equivalent of a block). The lodge had a nice lobby/ common area with morning coffee. Free internet/computer available. All the... More

We have been up to Golden Eagle many times over the past 4 years and absolutely love spending time there. We've stayed in a variety of rooms on each trip and do not have a complaint. Some rooms are more spacious than others, but all are very comfortable and roomy with incredible views of the mountains or town square. In... More

This was the second time we have stayed at the Lodge.. both times we had 9 people with us, varying in ages from 9-72... we stayed on the 4th floor (same condo both times, actually). The condo was quite spacious, and held us all with relative ease. The amenities that are offered are fantastic. The pond is wonderful for taking... More

My family has been heading to GEL for an early summer weekend for the past 10 years. We try to get the same unit if possible as it's roomier than some others. The facilities are well maintained... staff friendly and the kitchen in the unit is well equipped. We stop by the market in Plymouth on our way in as... More

Just spent 4 days at this hotel, attending a graduation/family reunion celebration. The management and staff were totally accomodating and our condo was very comfortable. Location is perfect, rooms all have fabulous views and we loved spending family time on the front porch and in the lobby. Nice pool plus hot tub and sauna on the premises. This is great... More
