A perfect getaway weekend! The Carroll Villa is the epitome of Cape May...quaint, hospitable, and Victorian. From the moment we arrived to when we checked out, the staff made my wife and I feel like we were the only ones they were hosting. Everyone was friendly with a willing smile. I was very impressed! The room was comfortable, the food... More

Just want everyone to know that we had a great time this past weekend. We could not have asked for a nicer weekend. Even though the weather was not great the employees hospitality made it worth while. From the time we checked in until check out couldn't have asked for a better group of people. They should be proud of... More

Eddie will appreciate your comments...We are happy that you were sensitive enough to write a nice review; as you mentioned some people write only to complain.......Enjoy the end of Winter. Spring is coming. See You again at the Batter. Mark Kulkowitz , Owner More

We loved our stay at Carroll Villa! The hotel is situated very close to the center of town so once you parked your car it was virtually unnecessary to move it. The hotel is older so it does have its 'rickety' issues, but overall it was great! My only two complaints were that the door to our room (Room 21... More

Thank you very much for your exhaustive review on the Mad Batter Restaurant and Carroll Villa Hotel...We try and make everyones stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. One issue, which I must respond to, is that Room 21 has a queen bed and not a full bed.....This is positively positively a queen. More

Wonderful antique decor. Very friendly & helpful staff. One block from the beach & 2 blocks from shopping. Quiet, spacious rooms with excellent amenities & nice little 'extras' like chocolate dipped strawberries, large portion breakfasts, dependable WiFi... AND the absolute BEST coffee you will have outside of New Orleans. Thanks for a great little get away. :-) More

Carroll Villa is a charming Victorian B&B. It is large enough (I think 20 some rooms) to allow you to do your own thing or socialize with the other guests. Having the Mad Batter (think incredible pancakes at breakfast) restaurant on-site is a huge plus. The restaurant serves upscale food for all meals with generous portions. They willingly accommodate substitutions... More

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The room had a good view to the beach and most of all very peaceful and relaxing. Last but not least the breakfast at the Mad Batter was delish! My husband and I plan on returning this spring or summer. More

One of our favorite staff mottos is "roll out of bed and have one of the best breakfasts or lunch at the Mad Batter Restaurant"...We are glad that you enjoyed your stay....If you have not already done so try the Crab Benedict with Hollandaise sauce,,My favorite with fresh squeezed orange juice and our Mandeeling Sumatran coffee while sitting on the... We have been going to Cape May to celebrate New Years for quite a while and we always stay at the Carroll Villa. Lovely rooms in a great location, just a few steps from shopping and the beach. And the Mad Batter restaurant is right under roof. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. Last year I had a medical... More

The Carroll Villa is a wonderful place to stay. I stayed there recently with my now fiance. I notified the staff via email that I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend during our stay. They were very accommodating and ensured that everything went off without a hitch. The hotel itself is very nice. We stayed in a room without... More

We had an amazing time in Cape May this winter staying at the Carroll Villa Hotel because of the living social deal. The rooms were a little small, but this is made up for by the very, very comfortable feeling of a country home. Everything was updated like you would find in a modern hotel except the ambiance made you... More

I also like taking the ferry across from Delaware...One is always on the lookout for porpoises and stray German U boats from WWII-(just kidding). It is a great 90 minute ride along the bay and beats driving...You can even have a cocktail on board..We do have larger rooms so please look on the website to see all the choices....carrollvilla.com Please...
