A really nice place to stay overnight.... accommodating staff, lovely restaurant, nice rooms... although the rooms, especially the plumbing do need some loving care and attention.
My only complaint is the shuttle service... on both occasions because of excessive waiting, I ended up having to use the sister hotel, Hampton Inn shuttle service to get to the Hilton. Mind you...

We spent one night in the hotel to catch an early flight. Nothing much to do (as expected in an airport hotel).
Restaurant was okay - our room was clean but could use a bit of renovation.

Don't stay here if you want to visit NYC. Too inconvenient and you can get a better deal on an apt. in Brooklyn with Homeaway.com. Also, there's nothing nearby except a cemetery. They do have a free shuttle to and from the airport but none to cruise terminal in Bayonne. The restaurant is really pricey too as is the bar....

We get a good stay. People were very nice at the reception. The room was clean.
why I don't give 5 stars :
the breakfast was cold, and don't have cereals or fruits, but it was included.
Other thing, in 2011 they don't offer internet free... 9.95$ per day.

We stayed here for one night before transferring to NYC. Great price, smooth pick up, free shuttle transfer. Large room, quiet. Hotel took us back to airport on free shuttle to get the train into town. Clean hotel. Great breakfast in hotel.

When you choose to stay on or near airport property you pretty much should know what you are getting into. You pick a location like this because you want to stay close to the hotel, get in, get out, get to your flight. In this respect this Hilton is fine.
