Terrific location, super friendly and attentive staff. Rooms large and clean, pillows and bed comfortable, shower head great. Perfect place to stay for Liberty State Park events. Beware of Holland Tunnel on a Friday night!

Upon arrival for my cousins wedding, we were greeted by a man yelling at us to move our car. Terribly expensive room, very nice, but for the price you'd think they could leave you more than 1 bath towel per person. $17 for breakfast which doesn't include coffee? The food is a bit overpriced, particularly breakfast, but I think overall its pretty good. Felix the dude is awesome, very affable. Makes the visit more enjoyable for sure. It's centrally located around Jersey City with awesome views.

The staff was friendly but Felix was the host with the most. He checked us in and upgraded us to a pent house. Very large and spacious. We stayed in a partial view king size ap on 12th floor. Partial view means that the roon faces the side of the building and you can see a part of Manhattan and either the Jersey city or the Newport. Great location and decent price. This hotel offers excellent service in a convenient location. Just a few minutes walk from excellent public transportation with access to Manhattan. There are several decent restaurants within walking distance as well.

When visiting the New York City area, consider staying at the DoubleTree in Jersey City. They have an excellent staff, the hotel is convenient to the Light Rail and Path station, and the overall experience of the stay is wonderful.
