We attended a funeral in Princeton and found the location excellent since we could walk to the funeral home, the chapel, the cemetery and the lunch venue after the service. The lobby and guest rooms are average at best and certainly nor worth the price. The staff at check-in were polite and helpful but later, not so much. Aside from... More

We've stayed at this hotel many times. The location is great for a visit to Princeton U. The service is spotty. Nick is a great bellman, but some of the front desk people are less than wonderful. The rooms need a little freshening up- better lighting, new, less noisy air conditioning units, and a more healthy room service menu. We'd... More

We pre-paid for three nights, which was the minimum required to get a room at the Nassau Inn. We arrived late in the afternoon and were greated by a staff of three 25 year old kids running the entire place - no adult supervision to be found anywhere. Not surprisingly, the front desk assistant struggled to find our reservation. 45... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Nassau Inn many times in the last 30 years. This weekend we had two rooms. We reserved a room with two queens and a "parlor suite". We have stayed in parlor suites a number of times in the past. This time we were in room 323, a parlor suite in the "charming"... More

Clean room and very comfortable bed, well located in the center if town. Historic structure but mediocre quality interiors, not as charming and rustic as it seems from the photos and the esteemed location. Our major complaint is that though we had given our credit card to hold the rooms, our family members checked in separately for 2 rooms, and... More

This is a just-OK hotel whose only claim is its convenient location in central Princeton. I have given it 2 /5. I would really say 2.5, somewhere between poor and extremely average. The room was OK but dark, which seems to be the norm for hotels worldwide. There were public areas but these were taken up for one whole day... More

The location of this hotel is superb if you are visiting Princeton University without a car. You can walk three blocks to the University and the hotel is surrounded by good restaurants, pubs and shopping opportunities. The facility is historic and outdated. For the price I expected it to be more recently renovated. The rooms are spacious for a historic... More

We were traveling to the area and the Nassau Inn was recommended to me by a local as an alternative to another night's stay in Manhattan, and I am quite happy that we took our friend up on his suggestion! Although the accomodations were definitely not five-star, it was nonetheless a pleasure it was to stay here and enjoy all... More

What was once a first class property has grown tired and lazy. The couldn't-be-more-convenient location is wonderful, but service is bad, food so-so, and the facility just generally in need of a major overhaul. The dining room, which back in the day was once one of the better dining spots in towns, has been sectioned off and rented out as... More

located at the square, from a walking distance to the university. seems a bit run-down. not an excellent value for money, good location though. the building stands since 1756, the old historic charm is still visible.
