My wife was working in Roberson and we decided to arrive the evening before and stayed in one of the local hotels. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we decided to try the Roberson Small Hotel. This was by far one of the most memorable stays in a long time. The ambiance, food, rooms and service was out of this world. In... More

My husband took my away for the weekend with our 2 year old son to this hotel and we had the most wonderful time. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very patient with our (quite 'busy') 2 year old son. It's not really a place for children but we didn't have much choice and actually it worked out fine.... We stayed two nights in this delightful property where rural tranquility blends seamlessly with sophisticated luxury. The service was superb and we loved the restaurant. Robertson can be very hot in summer and the two pools provided the perfect respite.

We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and what a divine little spot. Rooms are divine, huge, spacious, comfortable, everything your heart desires. The service from the bar, restaurant, housekeeping, reception all fantastic. If you want a real spoil, book now.

We stayed here with a group of friends on our dream trip to South Africa, and we stayed in Robertson. I would stay here again, although the area aside from wineries doesn't have much to do. I can't fault the hotel in the least. But the restaurant was a bit lacklustre. It is supposed to be a top restaurant but... More

This hotel is a very elegant old manor house. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to a room at the front of the house which was tastefully furnished and quiet. Breakfast was served on the patio with good choices and good service. We had our evening meal there too which was excellent. Maybe we were lucky reading... More

We arrived and were warmly welcomed. The car park was at the back of the hotel, and spacious enough for us to offload our bags at our ease. The hotel was delightful and very clean - the only slight surprise was the patio slabs in the driveway and the outside restaurant were not 100% level and some wobbled slightly... but... More

Having read the reviews and visted the hotel's website, we were very excited at the prospect of staing at the Robertson Small Hotel but sadly, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. The hotel grounds and rooms are absolutely gorgeous and very luxurious, but sadly our meals and the slightly false, over the top service spoilt our stay. In... More

We stayed here recently whilst exploring the wonderful wineries in the adjacent valley. The hotel has been beautifully modernized with some of the new rooms straight out onto a pool. We had 2 disappointments (one with one course of an otherwise excellent meal and the air con did not work in our room) but the test of a quality hotel... More

I can honestly say that I've never stayed in such a stylish hotel. Everything was delightful, not a thing out of place...except maybe me !! We ate in Reubens restaurant & it was a very good meal & not as expensive as I would have thought. Our room was in the actual house as opposed to the new rooms round... More
