“Country hospitality at its best”

We as tour operators, Tours4you, organised a group tour of 16 "young at heart" travellers to De Wagenhuis. This was our second visit to this lovely farm and our first since the new accommodation wing "District Seven" has been completed. “Fantastic Place”

We found this place by chance for an overnight stop driving back from Plettenberg to Cape Town. We did not have a satnav and it was difficult to find; there is no signpost at the road. It was well worth the hunt. Annekle had not intended to be open that evening but she welcomed us and rustled up a snack... More

“A beautifully rebuilt wagenhuis, with most comfortable accommodation.”

We enjoyed three nights on this lovely farm in comfortable and attractive accommodation. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and our hosts charming. The pool was a delight as were walks round the farm, with the dogs. We strongly recommend.

We stayed at de Wagenhuis and were made most welcome by Anneke and Andrew. They have converted an historic wagon house from the 1790s to a superb guest house with a lovely appartment consisting of 2 bedrooms, each with its own lounge and bathroom and a communal dining room and separate large kitchen, which we had for only 2 of...
