Perfect place for some relaxing peace and quiet; avoid the slopeside crowds and stay here! Great service; enjoyed chocolate martini and fireplace at the Saloon. Queen bed cabin was spacious and very clean but will go with a king bed next time. Cute shops right across the street. And did I mention its half the price of the other joints.... More

We visited here in February of 2013 to go skiing at Angel Fire and we were very impressed with the accomodations. We had driven past the lodge many times going to Taos and Red River and decided to stay here because it had good reviews and the rates were quite reasonable. You can tell the cabins are older units but... More

We stayed in the hunter's lodge section, a large room with a queen bed, a separate living room, 3/4 bath with a large shower, two TVs, a DVR, Wi-Fi, and a full kitchen with dishes and dishwasher. All furnishings were clean and plentiful. Cost was $169/night, taxes included. What it didn't include was any kind of continental breakfast in the... More

Thank you for your review, we have been thinking about offering a continental breakfast and may offer it during peak seasons at some point in the future. The rate you paid was our holiday rate as it was Labor Day Weekend, the room you were in (one of our most expense) is normally a bit less expensive. Come back and... More

Stayed here because Angel Fire was totally booked. Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The room was large and well kept. The building, linens, bath, shower, etc were all somewhat worn but everything was very clean. The place reminded me of when I was a kid and stayed with me grandparents in the country. Not totally quiet as you could hear... More

After 21 days on vacation and more than 2000 miles travelled, this was a wonderful rest for our bones and a soothing sight for our eyes. The town won our heart and the hosts at the lodge were most charming and helpful. Calamity Jane's restaurant provided great BBQ and hamburgers for lunch and their breakfast was ample and yummy! There... More

Stopped for three weeks and made to feel extremely welcome by the owners, staff and all the locals. Housekeeping is excellent and food in the on site restaurant very good. Charming historic location and well worth visiting. Would highly recommend this lodge.

Very happy with Laguna Vista Lodge. At least once a year we go to Eagle Nest to fish along the Cimarron Creek, and have stayed with Laguna for the past 10 years or so. Sue and John are very pleasant and easy to work with, and the cleaning service does a good job. The Lodge is situated at the Historic... More

It is most difficult for me to put to words the extraordinary time I had while spending a week at this destination. First off, everyone that I met was extremely pleasant and had no reservations in conversing with a complete stranger. From my initial conversations about my reservation with Sue (extremely lovely lady) to the last round at the saloon... More

My mother and I were looking for a unique, enjoyable place to stay in the Taos area and found the Laguna Vista Lodge to be just what we needed. Unfortunately we were unable to follow through on the reservation but Sue was highly professional and very accommodating. Most reviews are about the visit but making the reservations is a constant... My husband and I just recently stayed at the Laguna Vista Lodge in Cabin #20.
