We thought the Largo was terrific to find in west central New Mexico. We have been in the area many times but never stopped here. The hotel room was a nice size and the furnishings were not plain Motel 6 but actually had a little style to them. The room was really clean (I mean the CREAM colored upholstery club... More

Yes, it's new and clean. It's not cheap for what you get; we paid $68 (tax included) for a room that wouldn't be a bargain at $60. The internet doesn't work, and it appears hasn't in quite a while (I see a July review with the same problem). There is a satellite-tv system in the rooms with five-step instructions that... More

First you have to realize that you're in-between Springerville, AZ and Datil, NM. Not a lot to choose from in this area, but the Largo has come a long way in the last few years. It's been cleaned up like new, staff is helpful and the cafe next door is still serving something better than I can cook. What most... More

This motel is a very good place to stay in rural western New Mexico. Our rooms was very comfortable, the bed was good and the room was clean. The wireless internet wasn't working, but that wasn't a big problem and the folks in the restaurant did try to solve the problem. This is a no-frills place, but it was far... More

We stopped here on a road trip from Calilfornia to Tennessee (it was our stop in between the Grand Canyon and Dallas). We arrived quite late, but there were still people in the cafe and we were able to get our key from there. The room was pretty modern, very clean and neat. We had a great nights sleep and... More

Stopped here for the night while on a trip from Phoenix, AZ to Red River, NM. Having read a prior review, I followed the advice and ordered the hamburger. It was truly delicious. Only odd thing was that when I asked for it to be cooked medium rare, I had to sign the order. The lodging was very comfortable. Breakfast... More

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There are no bugs. There is a big difference in a random bug that ends up in a bed somehow and actual bedbugs. People should not post ignorant comments. It can be very damaging to innocent businesses. I enjoyed my stay and will be back often.

Room was new and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant served pretty good, standard fare, and excellent green chili burgers. Look out for the elk-horn Christmas tree at the end of town. Nearest possible alcohol - 20 miles. Plan accordingly.

My son and I topped there in early March, 2012. Had a great burger. Very friendly staff. Particularly in young lady working in the restaurant. My son commented "how does a girl develop a great personality like that in Podunk, No where, New Mexico". (no insult intended). Very cold in the morning (18 degrees) but never noticed as the room... The staff here couldn't be friendlier - they really are very nice people. The room I am currently in is spacious, the bathroom is large, and there's cable/internet. The only reason that I am writing this review at 2:45am (with a looong work day ahead of me), is because while relaxing on the bed a movement caught my eye -... More
