This place is pleasant surprise. One will find lodging in Ruidoso to be a bit more expensive given the ambiance of the cool mountains in comparision to the surrounding desert. Love the atmosphere and friendly people! Feels like you're at home when you're here, but you don't have to do the work! You even have a front yard to enjoy, complete with sauna, grill, flowers and hummingbirds!! The rooms are comfy and homey.. each one a little different with all the modern necessities. “Kitschy comfort”

An older property that is well-maintained and very clean. Had a comfortable and relaxing stay. It has a friendly atmosphere and is close to downtown Ruidoso. I have stayed in Ruidoso many times, in a variety of hotel properties and the Sitzmark beats the chain hotels in the same price range for both comfort and service.

“True to its word...”

A cozy home away from home....We were very comfortable at our stay. This place is well maintained. The atmosphere was relaxing and even though it was close to the main street, we couldn't hear the traffic noise. We can't believe there is still an affordable gem!!!!! my kids enjoyed the stay. Thank you Sitzmark!!!!!
