Wonderful location. Wonderful hosts and staff. Eloquent, informed, interesting guides. Delightful. Beautiful big trees - interesting owls - little cell phone reception yay - impeccably clean jeeps with impeccably dressed uniformed staff (would have LOVED warmer blankets on the Jeep, but this was really a minor issue as everything else was so good)

We flew to Johannesburg and straight on to Hoedspruit, and were met at the airport, taking about an hour to reach the lodge. This place caters for 22 people, and there are 2 family rooms. We were very happy with our stay, the staff was very friendly and the rangers/spotters knew their job. Only possibl downside was that there are quite a lot of different camps in the consession resulting in quite a lot of vehicles driving around.

got everything we looked for (2 safaris with lots of animals including lions, swimming pool, all meals included only drinks to pay extra) and relative to other private game reserves it was affordable.
