We stayed 3 nights, a group of 20 family members, and we just had the most amazing stay. The food was great, the service very friendly and the tour guides so fun and interesting. It is such a nice place because it is litterally in the middle of the wild, we could even see some giraffes from our rooms! The... More

Wonderful location. Wonderful hosts and staff. Eloquent, informed, interesting guides. Delightful. Beautiful big trees - interesting owls - little cell phone reception yay - impeccably clean jeeps with impeccably dressed uniformed staff (would have LOVED warmer blankets on the Jeep, but this was really a minor issue as everything else was so good)

We arrived at Mohlebetsi with our two children, 10 & 12, in time for the evening drive. We climbed into a very comfortable open jeep and headed straight into the bush. Within seconds we were amongst a huge herd of buffalo, then a leopard appeared from nowhere, plus fighting giraffes, four different types of vultures, kudo and to cap it... More

We flew to Johannesburg and straight on to Hoedspruit, and were met at the airport, taking about an hour to reach the lodge. This place caters for 22 people, and there are 2 family rooms. The cottages are divine- round, with thatched, high raked ceilings, great king beds, and an outdoor shower attached to the room. Showering in the sunlight... More

We were very happy with our stay, the staff was very friendly and the rangers/spotters knew their job. Only possibl downside was that there are quite a lot of different camps in the consession resulting in quite a lot of vehicles driving around.

Good Day Marten Thank you for your review of our Lodge & we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We have noted your comment regarding the number of vehicles. We do indeed traverse certain areas along with other small, reputable game lodges. This is advantageous as it allows most of our concession to be covered during... More

Very welcoming excellent value for money, brilliant staff, good food fantastic game viewing knowlegeable rangers, impeccably clean and a very welcome pool. We have stayed on other game lodges at much higher cost and can't see what added value they gave us compared with Mohlabetsi. Whilst not part of the itenary the proper charge by the matriarch ellie was an... More

Mohlabetsi lodge was a great way to end a 10 day tour of Kruger. My wife and I stayed at three different SA National Park rest camps in Kruger which was fine but to have three days and two nights at the luxurious Mohlabetsi, with everything organised for you by very attentive staff was a brilliant finale. The attention to... More
