We stayed in April for three nights at the Kanana Camp with our 9 year old daughter. The camp is a marvelous situated with postcard views and managed perfectly. The team at the Camp truly made the difference and in particular Marc, Georgie, Kenny and T-men were fabulous. The rooms are large, clean and provide anything you would not dream... More

Spent 3 nights in Kanana at the beginning of May and everything was wonderful. Friendly staff, comfortable, almost luxurious accommodation compared to our first bushcamp, with ample supplies of food, drink, company, information etc. Pax was a very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide, and the bush walk we took with him was very informative and enjoyable. The trip out in the... More

We stayed at Kanana for three days at the end of March, having stayed three in Linyanti, and then going on to Shinde camp on the other side of the Delta, followed by three days near Livingstone. We are not serial reviewers, but felt compelled to write something about this wonderful camp. Kanana are extremely fortunate in having a chap... More

Ker & Downey continue to "raise the bar" in the Safari sphere......top quality in all aspects! They have excellent accomplices in husband and wife Mark and Georgi, who have managed to create a wonderful, warm and inviting team to integrate you seamlessly into their nurturing bush experience! Nothing is too much trouble - and always undertaken with a heartfelt smile... More

This was our first camp of the trip and it set a very very high standard for those that followed. Everything was superb, from the welcome to the food to the accomodation to the guides to the game viewing. The only thing that was wrong was that we were only there two nights. About 14 would have been better.

This camp was a the crown jewel of our month-long journey in southern Africa. Owned and operated by the Ker & Downey team, this 7-tent camp within the vast Okavango Delta is simply superb in every way. Wonderful game viewing opportunities. Our guide took us out twice daily - and even a few night drives. Good mix of land and... More

We had a marvellous time at Kanana camp. The camp is luxurious - perhaps too much so for some tastes - and very comfortable. The food was amazing: I don't know how they do it miles away from anywhere, and everything needing to brought it by plane or long truck jouneys. Even special diets can be catered for, apparently without... More

Kanana was the final camp on a four-camp tour of Botswana - and our long-awaited debut in the Okavango Delta. A truly magical experience. From the moment we were greeted by husband and wife managers Mark and Georgi, we just knew this Ker & Downey camp would be bliss. Warm, friendly, caring, efficient and smiling staff simply provided the punctuation... More

We had a very memorable stay at Kanana. The camp is very well managed and unlike other camps, the manager here (Mark) made a significant difference to our overall enjoyment of the camp and its facilities. He is always there and manages to mingle and socialise with the guests without being overbearing or omni present. All the staff are very... More
