Dust on the baseboard HAHAHAHAHA thats the last thing you should be complaining about. I'm not going into details but if you want to right a book about welfare and why... More

OMG- Stay AWAY--this place is horrendous. It must be some kind of welfare hotel throwback to the 1970's 42nd street. It appears that drug deals and prostitution are going on. Characters are walking back and forth all night. A woman banged on our door after midnight yelling "let me in, it's me". We were stuck there due to Hurricane Irene... More

I'm generally not fussy about motel rooms but clean is a MUST!! Room #38 was an absolute disgrace. If I hadn't paid $173 in FULL at the time of booking I would have RUN out of there. We only stayed one night because we were attending a wedding in the area. I don't know where the rooms are that are... More

Can't complain. It was what you'd expect for the money. The pros are it is walking distance from a strip mall and the ferry. Plus you can catch the bus if you want to get into the city. For a few nights it was fine. Like the person below me said, it can get kind of noisy outside but for... More

Very ordinary, small room - pretty much what you would expect for this chain. The motel is located between a garden apartment complex and a strip mall, but it was fairly quiet at night except for some idiot who banged loudly on the door of one of the nearby rooms. Definitely not a place that I'd want to plan a... More

Please do not stay here. We live in NYC and was heading to long island for our friend's bbq. At the last minute, we decided to stay overnight so we could head to Robert Moses Beach in Long Island. This place had a room. Ok, its Econolodge so we didnt expect anything fancy and we were ok with that. However,... More

Well, the pictures online look much better than it looks in person. Had no problem checking in. We went to our room, and just getting to our room had its problems. Room was located in an outdoor green carpeted area (similar to carpet in putt putt golf) and boy, did it smell. Wasn't sure if the smell was cat urine,... More

I feel obligated to report a short stay at this Econolodge. We originally booked the hotel based on its reasonable price and proximity to places on Long Island. I would not recommend staying here unless it is an emergency. The rooms were generally dirty, and in drastic need of updating. The wallpaper and ceiling were stained in places. The sink... More

We stayed at this place out of desperation...it was over the July 4th holiday, for my husbands family reunion. Everywhere else was booked. Thank God all we needed was a place to lay our heads--on our own pillows! Our room, #36, was the designated 'smokers' room w/ two double beds. From the looks of the door jambs inside the room...
