“Just what a B and B should be”

Hilltop Cottage reminded us of B and B's in the UK, not fancy and modern but a home with character and a comfortable feel to it. Anita and Charlie were perfect hosts, they were interesting and amusing and paid attention to detail. Anita provided interesting breakfasts, zucchini was a surprise but it was delicious! A very enjoyable stay indeed.

We stayed at the Hilltop B&B for Americade 2010. Anita and Charlie were wonderful hosts. Our weekend was quite wet since it rained throughout the parade; but Anita was so kind as to dry our drenched clothes. She really went out of her way to make our stay more enjoyable. “Inexpensive, adequate B&B near beautiful Lake George”

I have delayed this review because Hilltop Cottage was the first B&B in which we stayed and I thought perhaps my expectations were too high. My wife and I spent the past 8 years(mini vacation)at Hilltop Cottage and we love it. Anita and Charlie are top noched hosts.
