We've just returned from a fantastic road trip around North East USA. Cranberry Lake is the place to go when you want to get back to nature... there aren't any theme parks or malls - it's all about the fishing, hiking, boating, camping, hunting, snowmobiling and skiing. An abundance of trails allow for great photography too! However, it's not so remote that you won't enjoy fine dining and good company - worth the visit any time of year!
