I stayed in this hotel with a fairly large group on New Years Eve. While the hotel was booked solid, the staff at the front desk as able to book all of our rooms in the same hallway at our request. The personnel was responsive to our needs at all times. The desk personnel was courteous and attentive upon our arrival. Thereafter they always acknowledged or presence as we passed the desk during our stay. The interior decor of the hotel is showing wear, perhaps its age. The overall experience was pleasant and without anyi substantive detractions. more

Simply put, this hotel is run down. Its saving grace is that it seems to be very clean. There are half a dozen hotels within sight of this one. I wish I had chosen another. The TV reception was blurry, the bed was old, and it just felt pretty bare bones and plain. more

Thanks to Mohammed Uro and Nick Davino, we had a wonderful stay in Fishkill. After driving 12 hours from Maine, we were exhausted and spent. My dad and I were just traveling through and called the Holiday Inn just checking to see if they had anything available. They did and offered us a great price. When we arrived, we were checked in quickly and sent to our room. We asked for a rollaway to be sent since they only had rooms with king size beds... more

I was at this hotel for a conference and it really leaved a lot to be desired. The power went out and was out from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in parts of the hotel. There was no emergency lighting in the hallways. Our room wastebasket was not emptied for 2 days, we didn't have a bath mat or wash... more

My daughter and I stayed overnight at this Holiday Inn and had a wonderful, restful night. The bed was clean and crisp. The bath was spotless. The front desk people were very polite and helpful. We wish there were more places like this one to stay! more
