“Relaxing place.”

I stayed a weekend at this hotel, and the surrounding, hotel and the patio bar was really relaxing. Staff are great and friendly ( some of them are a bit loud ) and the food is good as well. The hotel looks characteristically old but well maintained. Recommend to anyone .

We always get great friendly service from all the staff. Some of the rooms are a bit on the small side but they are clean and well decorated with very comfortable beds. Good hotel spoilt by lack of car parking space.... alternative pay and display car park next to the hotel required getting up at 0715 hrs on a Sunday morning to put a valid ticket on the car ... not relaxing !

Once you find the hotel and get past its rather unappealing exterior the rooms are comfortable and the communal bar and restaurant extremely pleasant with views over the river. My girlfriend and I stayed here just for the one night after finding a deal for 2day passes to thorpe park and 1 night b&b for £135.
