Stayed here, as we pre booked from another state and location was near our interstate route. Room overpriced as there were limited rooms available, according to staff. Staff would not accept coupon for lower room rate, otherwise no complaints with staff- friendly, helpful. Main complaint- the room and hall smelled of a chemical carpet cleaner/deodorizer. Horrible! This was the second time at this hotel. We returned because of our positive experience on the first visit. Its location is excellent (right off of the highway), with easy access to gas stations, eateries and stores. We will definitely return to this Microtel on our next visit to the Rochester area!
