I ditto all the wonderfully positive comments about Nancy and the Inn. My husband and I just spent two nights there and loved our experience. We stayed in Room 3 which was more than adequate in size and exquisitely appointed. The bathroom was huge and completely updated. Nancy made us feel so comfortable and was generous and upbeat. We loved... More

Nancy provides a haven for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed a lovely night in the giant guest suite followed by homemade delicious breakfast, consisting of eggs, pancakes and freshly baked zucchini and banana bread. Nancy is a kind hearted Inn keeper whom has everything covered. She ensures you have a super tranquil, tasty and enjoyable stay. I... More

What a pleasure to spend a few days out of NYC and discover the mid-Hudson Valley region using this wonderful home as our base. Nancy, experienced and very well traveled Inn-keeper, was so hospitable. Coming from Europe ,it was nice to exchange with someone who has visited there so many times. The home is bautifully decorated, cosy, comfortable and very... More

Nancy is a warm and welcoming hostess. This in is a lovely old home offering three guest rooms. Ours was #2 - not large but gracious and very clean, with a spacious bathroom. Common spaces were thoughtfully furnished with many travel books and country French flourishes. Breakfast was excellent and two choices of entree were offered, together with fruit compote and... Was motivated to contibute some thoughts only because of a superlative experience. It is obvious the property was extensively rennovated and updated. The accomodations and common areas are beautiful, tasefully decorated with comfort in mind. The property is spotless and well cared for. Nancy exhibits superlative hospitality that could compensate for many shortcomings (if they existed). Breakfast was outstanding. For... More

I poured over websites of B&Bs, looking for just the right property to celebrate our 25th anniversary. When I finally found the Inn at Twaalfskill, I knew this was the place. The inn is a turn of the century grand home, welcoming and just begging for you to slow down and look around. It is decorated beautifully and is immaculate.... More

I have not stayed at the inn, but I lived next door at 140 Vineyard from 1988 to 1990. An older gentleman lived at 144 at that time, and I believe the house was a pale yellow. It's situated in a wonderful, park-like setting and the creek and waterfall are lovely. Nice to see it's so pretty and well cared... More

This was our second time staying at this inn. We enjoyed it so much the first time we wanted to come back. Nancy is the heart of why this place is so great. It truly reflects her care and hospitality. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast still outstanding, and the location perfect. If you're lucky, you'll get to... More

While returning home for a short visit with friends and family, my husband surprised me with a charming stay at this quaint B&B. For starters, It was SPOTLESS. Our bedroom and bath were both comfortably large and airy; filled with beautiful antiques. The beds and pillows were soft and dreamy. We started each morning with a gourmet breakfast in a... More

Recently, my two girlfriends and I traveled to the Hudson Valley to sightsee and eat at the Culinary Institute of America. After researching several B&Bs in the area, I booked a room at this charming B&B. It is difficult to find a B&B to accommodate 3 travelers but the owner told me she had a very comfortable inflatable bed that... More
