i had the opportunity of spending a few days (March 2013) in Queretaro with two girlfriends. The hotel was a nice surprise. We had a fairly good size room with two queen beds. The location is perfect as it is right in town so everything is within walking distance. The young staff was excellent and could not have been more... More

Our stay at hotel 'Villa del Villar' was (like the title states) just perfect. The location of the hotel is just next to Jardin Guerrero in Centro Histórico, from there you can walk to Jardín Zenea and enjoy the downtown atmosphere. Jesús and the team are excellent hosts and willing to help at any time; they gave us great tips... More

We have traveled extensively in Mexico and some aspects of Villa del Villar are the best we’ve experienced. The location is perfect - easy walking distance to all the highlights of the centro historico yet far enough away that you are not bothered by the hustle and bustle of the enthusiastic activities in the squares. It is also close to... More

A very attractive and quaint property, near the heart of the historic center of Queretaro. Staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful. Breakfasts are included and are excellent. Our room was a bit small and dark but very nicely arranged. The bed was comfortable and the nights were quiet. The bathroom also was small but modern and functional. Good value.

however, I would recommend this place for its location, tranquility, service, Jesus, was most accommodating. He speaks little English, enough to understand your requests. Our room (# 5) was wonderful. It had 2 queen size beds which were very comfortable to the point that we slept in, and almost missed our taxi to go to the bus station. If we are back... More

We stayed at this hotel in January with our two children (15 & 14) and had a great experience. For a very reasonable fee a hotel employee picked us up at the airport and drove us back at the end of your stay. The hotel is very near the historic center of Queretaro with beautiful plazas in each direction. The... More

The hotel is really well located in the historical center of Queretaro. It is a large hacienda, with rooms decorated in colonial style, spotless, clean and very comfortable. Our stay with my husband and his parents was very nice and pleasant. The service provided by the staff (Raul, Jesus and Orlando) was very good, attentive to detail and with great... More

10 room hotel more along a bed and breakfast or inn. Raul and his team are excellent hosts and make you feel at home. The breakfasts were great too. The location is also very good - in the old city but not too close to be too noisy. A nice alternative to a "business hotel" although it was quite nice... More

Excellent hotel, small and beautiful, a peaceful haven in the city. We stayed there before moving to another town for a family wedding. This hotel was so good we went back after the wedding and stayed there for the rest of our time in Mexico. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully authentic in their... More

This hotel is excellent and I highly recommend it. I was getting married near Queretaro and stayed here with my family for a few days beforehand. The staff were very attentive to every need, best I every experienced. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The place itself is beautiful, in a beautiful part of town, very central, and very...
