Made a reservation on a Wednesday (for Friday night). Called Thursday to cancel (Inclement weather forecasted). Was then told there was a 7 day cancellation policy! Weather turned out not to be that bad so we made the trip (after all they were going to charge us anyway). Should have stayed home. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! More

My biggest complaint is that there are no covers for the cover! the dooner, thogh warm, was only covered by a sheet which means you're sleeping under a blanket that millions of bodies slept under before you!! I was a great place to stay in nice weather. The motor inn could use updating but has comfortable beds, cable tv, fridge (with a good size freezer, that was a plus!) coffee maker, nice tolietries, and free wifi. Very inexpensive, yet so clean and nice amenities. Fridge in the room and beautiful view of the lake. Right in the downtown of Lake Placid so no need to drive. Our bottom floor room walked out into a beautiful grassy area where we could enjoy views of the lake. More
