We were two couples traveling together and stayed in the Veronica and Orphee rooms. Both beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and comfortable rooms. La Barde was a wonderful b&b. The new owners make you feel very welcome and were quite helpful. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and quite large. We had a lovely walk-out from our room. Had only booked 2 nights so we could visit Sarlat and Rocamadour but really could have stayed a week. Wonderful hosts and located only a short drive from the restaurants in Sarlat but there is also a perfectly good local eatery just down the road. Fantastic breakfast

Visited in early July travelling with two teens; everything was perfect from setting to suite to breakfast. Owners were new to business and very helpful. If visiting Dordogne, this is a great place to stay.
