Room did not meet the same level of quality we have experienced in other Hamptons. The Internet connection was poor. We have not stayed in other hotels in this area for comparison, only rating against other Hamptons. Close location / access to highway. Room was quiet didn't hear any outside noise.

We arrived much later than anticipated and it was so nice to be served some vegetables and dip, chips and salsa as well as cookies, juice and water. The reception staff member was excellent, polite and very helpful.

Cookie cutter hotels such as Hampton Inns have pluses and minus. On the one hand, you can depend on a good bed and chocolate chip cookies, both important to travelers. This room was not clean. I was reluctant to walk around barefoot because the rug was so dirty. The room smelled bad, almost like cigarette smoke. Aside from the waffles, breakfast was inedible. Staff was pleasant, though. Room was very hot or very cold.

Don't let the fact that they are in the middle of a renovation fool you. The staff here are always nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and the new furnishings are much more than you might expect. Best of all, they feed you pretty well!
