This was a return trip to Wagener Estate. This trip we brought along another couple to enjoy the local wineries and some time getting reaquainted while relaxing at the inn. As usual the innkeeper greeted us and made us feel welcome. We stayed in the Niagara Room which is beautifully furnished with cherry furnishings which include a huge Empire Bed. Our friends stayed in the Delaware Room which has its own entrance and is decorated...

Having stayed at many b&b's, I must say that Wagener Estate ranks high on my list. My fianceè and I had a wonderful stay at this historic inn. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful with suggestions of resturantes, and directing us to local hiking trails. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to keep us energized throughout the day at the wineries. Rooms were comfortable and very clean, and best of all, quiet! Would...

Stayed 2 nights at the Wagener Estate while touring wineries in the region. The Inn is in a very historic home (1796 I believe) but lacks charm. Many of the furnishings in the bedroom seemed out of place - neither antique nor new - rather just dated. Nothing was wrong with them, they just seems out of place and inappropriate. Bed was comfortable, the bathroom small, but fine. Breakfast both days was very good. Innkeeper...

I'm really torn on how to write this review because I can't say that anything was really wrong with this inn. But nothing knocked my socks off either.
The inn is very attractive and clean with a pleasant front porch for reading or just enjoying the sound of birds and the smell of the Niagara grapes grown on a nearby trellis. We stayed in the Delaware room which is around back and has its own...

We had a marvellous stay at this B&B, although it was only one night.
the room, the Seyval suite, was very spacious and truly met our needs with the private bathroom and a clean and comfy bed.
Breakfast was romanticly on the porch in the first rays of sun that morning...that makes you holiday really nice...

We had a wonderful experience at Wagener Estate B&B. This is a beautiful well maintained Historic Inn on very spaceious grounds with alot of space to walk around and explore or just to sit and relax outside. Inside common areas are large, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Our guest room was the Aurore room, a very clean comfortable large corner room with a private bath, the Innkeeper was more than happy to show us the other...

We stayed a couple of nights at this B&B in the fall while in town visiting the wineries. Although the inn keeper was pleasant, she offered the minimum necessary information. Some inn keepers feel the need to engage in endless chit chat. Not this lady.
The breakfast was okay. French toast and pancakes good. Egg dishes cold and on the skimpy side.
The Inn is an old structure with some remodeling. It was set back...

We just returned from a stay at Wagener Estate Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Niagara Room. Unlike the previous reviewer, I thought the room was great. We love Bed and Breakfasts and have stayed at many of them, including quite a few in the Finger Lakes. The room and the bed were extremely nice. Unlike the previous reviewer, I saw nothing wrong with the mattress. It is one of those extremely tall beds,...

We stayed in the Niagara Room. The bed and armoire were beautiful, however, the mattress was pretty bad, as we both ended up in a "pit" in the middle of it. The lighting in the room was dim, and the bathroom was small with a very small shower stall. Breakfast was good, but were not offered more than what was put on the table. The innkeeper was very business like.
