We stayed here based on the tripadvisor ratings, very disappointed. The room was nice. The bathroom was clean, but needed to have the tub replaced as the finish is flaking off. We loved this hotel -- it is not on the main drag (Route 9) in Poughkeepsie, which was fine with us! It was VERY clean, quiet, nice staff, great breakfast. Clean, but nothing special for the price and the "Plus." My daughter and I were looking at colleges and the location is great for Vassar. Room had a overly air-freshner smell, which I am sensitive to. I would recommend facing the back not over the parking lot.

Our room was spacious and comfortable; the location ideal; Wappinger's creek (by the hotel) was lovely; and the breakfast offerings were very nice.
