One of the most customer-insensitive hotels I have ever stayed at. Came in late and was assigned a room at the end of the longest hall. Carting two large bags, I arrived only to find the key card didn't work. After a long process, I was shifted to a closer room, only to discover the next morning that there was...

There was no elevator and no one even offered to help us to our room on the 2nd floor with our bags. It was like they closed the doors in 1972 and reopened yesterday. Accustic ceiling tiles, mold and basic disrepair. The lack of fire sprinklers in the rooms was alarming. The linens were clean and the bartender was nice.

When you walk in the roof leaks into 4 buckets. When you walk to your room the ceiling is practically falling down. If you go to the vending machine it's out of order and yes it's got a leak overtop of it. If you go to breakfast expect a dirty kitchen with overbooked and gross food. If you complain to...

The room itself was nice, and when I...

Just got back from a one night stay here. I needed a place near Marist College that allows pets, so immediately that limited my options. Went with this one because they only charge $25/nt for each pet versus the $100/stay charged by the Marriott properties, and I figured I'd only be staying one night anyway so I gave it a...

I dont know what kind of yearly price-fixing conference there is in Poughkeepsie, enforced by some ethnic mafia or what, but I cringed when I read reviews of many $125-$175/night hotels in Pough. I settled on The Clarion because we had to stay somewhere.
Carpets are dirty and stained, in some places ripped. Rooms are relatively clean and unremarkable (sheeting...

The hallways stink terribly. No elevators. The mattress pad kept slipping off all night. The coffee at their breakfast was so weak, it tasted like muddy water. And no tea available as an option. We couldn't wait to leave!
