I've been to the point with my husband on December 2013. Absolutely one of the most beautiful experience ever! Landscapes are fantastic, rooms are beautifully decorated and absolutely charming, staff is one of the most attentive and kind I've ever experienced, food is beyond excellent... You can order a pizza at 3AM and find yourself eating one of the best... More

My husband and I just returned from a Stave puzzle weekend at The Point. If you don't mind paying up front (and you do) but then don't want to have to worry about another thing your entire stay, this is the kind of place for you. We truly felt like friends of the family invited to stay for the weekend... More

We have wanted to stay at The Point for years, and this year we finally did it. It exceeded our high expectations! The place is nothing less than spectacular in every way from the moment you arrive until you leave. Great staff. Wonderful location and ambiance. Great food matched with excellent wines. We loved our room with its fireplace. Every... More

In one word: Perfection. My (now!) fiance surprised me by proposing to me at The Point. We first discovered The Point in a book about Adirondack Great Camps from the 1920s & 30s, as the property was originally owned and built by William A. Rockefeller. There was a gorgeous photo of the Boathouse featured in the book which caught our... More

Everything was fantastic, from start to finish. There is nothing about this place that requires management to change. As a newcomer to the property, I had no idea what to expect for my stay.... there is no way to adequately prepare the visitor for the fantastic experiences of the Point. Strong advice- make your stay at least 3 nights if... More

We had the pleasure of spending five nights at the Point last summer. The property is incredible and the level of service surpasses anything we had ever experienced - and we have certainly experienced some excellent service! Your every need is anticipated and each activity is simply seamless. A spin around the lake in a vintage craft, a picnic breakfast... More

The Point is like nowhere else in the entire world! My husband and I spent the first three nights of our marriage there (having originally only intended to spend one!) and really can't put into words how utterly magical the place is. Yes, the food is superb, the service world-class, the scenery breathtaking...but there's something extra, something special and indescribable... More

Beyond any hotel/resort experience you can imagine! Not Disney World, by any means--but pure heaven for a small group of adults (22 at most) who can take advantage of the setting, the rooms, and most of all, the staff. We have never, never, never, been to a place that is so warm, welcoming, accommodating, and all around wonderful. Best of... More

The Point is by far the best lodging experience I have ever had. We stayed in the boat house and were in awe the whole time. Everything is included when you stay at The Point. Food, drinks, recreation, etc. We found everything to be top-notch and were often surprised by the staff with extra touches. One afternoon we were hanging... More

Just returned from The Point. We went with close friends. It was a very unique experience. You will have a fabulous time but must be able to embrace the concept. The Point is the old Rockefeller Adirondack camp. Beautiful property. Well maintained. Champagne flows through out the weekend. There are four well equipped bars throughout the property. Snacks from tuffled... More
